Newly built Bedford Co. drive-in theater announces 2021 screening schedule

BEDFORD CO, Pa (WJAC) — The newly built Silver Lining Drive-In, located in Bedford County, has announced its 2021 movie schedule, according to a release from the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce. Movies will be presented on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, including additional dates in April and around Halloween. Last summer, 60 area businesses came together to build the new drive-in theater and now it can be put to use.

Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling hosts Junior High State Championships in Johnstown

The Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Junior High State Championships took place right here at the Cambria County War Memorial over the weekend. Hundreds of people showed up to the event. The tournament has been around since 1963 and bolsters the local economy. Dead fish found floating in Somerset Lake after fish salvage

SOMERSET - The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is speaking out after dozens of dead fish were found floating in the water at Somerset Lake two weeks after a fish salvage. The fish salvage happened on Oct.24 in preparation to completely drain the lake and make repairs to the dam and spillway. On Wednesday, a resident sent 6 News a picture of what appears to be dozens of fish piled up on shore at the lake.
