SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Somerset County say four individuals are facing involuntary manslaughter charges in the 2022 death of a 2-year-old boy in Milford Township.
Investigators say the child was found unresponsive on April 17, 2022 and was taken to UPMC Somerset, where he later died.
Officials say the child's cause of death was determined to be "multiple drug intoxication" as fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and xylazine were all reportedly found in his system.

A Karns City Area football player was flown to the hospital Friday after he reportedly collapsed on the field during the game.
According to reports from the Butler Eagle and D9 Sports, Karns City QB Mason Martin was transported to the hospital after collapsing near the 8-minute mark of the third quarter.
The game was stopped by the officials at the 7:53 mark of the quarter and Redbank Valley was credited with a 35-6 victory.
Dauphin County, PA — Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Brian Rickard was charged Friday after being accused of stealing heroin from the Troop R, Honesdale evidence room, ingesting it while at work and home, and using work computers and programs to cover up the thefts, officials say.
Police say Rickard is facing a number of charges including, Obstructing administration of law or other governmental function, tampering with records or identification, and acquisition or obtaining possession of controlled substance by misrepresentation, among other charges.
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Sheetz announced Thursday that it is lowering the price of its Unleaded 88 gas to $2.99 per gallon for the remainder of the month of August.
Officials say Unleaded 88 has been approved by the EPA to be used in all cars, trucks and SUVs that were made in 2001 or newer.
Experts say that Unleaded 88 "burns cleaner" and makes it more environmentally friendly.
