UPDATE | State police say a Virginia woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 80 Tuesday in Clearfield County. Troopers identified the victim as 29-year-old Nirali Bhatt of Lorton. They say Bhatt was the passenger in a car traveling east on I-80 in Bradford Township. They say the driver of the vehicle lost control, spun out, hit a guide rail and overturned. They say Bhatt was partially ejected and pinned underneath the vehicle suffering fatal injuries.

Bedford Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County have released new details about what led to an 18-hour standoff in Imler last week. Authorities say on Thursday night, July 7, troopers were dispatched to a residence, located along the 1200 block of Schellsburg Road in Kimmel Township, to serve an extradition warrant for 40-year-old Matthew Lehman. According to the affidavit, police spoke with 42-year-old Dana Grabill, who told authorities that Lehman was not inside the residence.

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Imagine going on a dating website looking for love, but ending up falling for a scammer. The "master of disguise" pretends to be somebody else, luring those seeking romance into a "romance scam" instead. "They want to believe that they have this relationship. They want to believe it." That's what M. Veil Griffith -- the Administrator for the Cambria County Area Agency on Aging -- told 6 News after seeing an increase in these scams.

WASHINGTON (TND) — A 31-year-old Colorado woman who authorities said had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy and became pregnant with his child won't be facing jail time, according to reports. The Fountain Police Department said Andrea Serrano was arrested in July 2022 on felony charges, including sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, as well as sexual assault on a child. Police said she admitted to having sex with the teenager and was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — House members in the Idaho Legislature voted in favor of the "Greater Idaho" movement this past week. The approval means Idaho representatives want to begin talks about relocating the Oregon-Idaho border, which is something many people in eastern Oregon have been waiting for. The "Greater Idaho" movement proposes that nearly everything east of the Cascades - except Bend - becomes part of Idaho. Currently, there are eleven Oregon counties supporting the move.
