Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Steelers safety, and former Penn State Nittany Lion, Marcus Allen is going viral on social media for gifting his mom a brand new car for Christmas. The video, posted to Allen's Instagram page and subsequently shared on the Steelers' social media pages, has already received thousands of views and reactions. Trout stocking begins as anglers statewide gear up for opening day of fishing season

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — It's almost time to go fishing. Trout fishing season in Pennsylvania is set to begin next week. For many anglers, it’s a date they've had circled for months, but say the cost of a fishing license has gone up. On Friday morning, near Milesburg, state officials were busy trout stocking. The Fish and Boat Commission hatchery trucks always draw a crowd. For the commission, this is an important time of year to raise vital revenue.

He was the crew chief on a C-123 cargo plane during the Vietnam War as part of the 311th Squadron of the Air Force from October 1967 to October 1968. Oftentimes, Morganti would transport supplies to Marine camps and move wounded and deceased bodies.

Altoona police chief responds to multiple officers in trouble with the law

ALTOONA -- This week Altoona police are waiting for blood-test results to determine charges for an officer who allegedly drove under the influence over the weekend, making him the third officer to face charges or citations in recent months. Chief Janice Freehling said Monday that she does not condone any of this behavior and that "the matters are being dealt with." Freehling said Officer Erik Stirk, who was off-duty at the time, was arrested and consented to blood tests.
