A lawsuit filed by former Penn State football team trainer Tim Bream against the university has been dismissed in Centre County court.

Bream claimed Penn State violated NCAA guidelines in reducing his responsibilities to avoid the appearance of scandal or impropriety.

Bream was a live-in adviser at the fraternity house where a party led to the death of Timothy Piazza in 2017.

Penn State says Bream never told them he was living at the fraternity.

A year after Piazza's death, Bream was relieved of his role as assistant athletic director.
