BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A while ago, the Blair County Historical Society teamed up with a local production company to produce a documentary that focuses on the history of the county, and to raise money for various preservation efforts within the historical society.
The long hours spent working on the project are finally over, and the production team anxiously awaits the special premier event, which takes place at the Mishler Theater next week.
Producers say they hope it serves as a call to action and gets younger generations interested in the actions, events and sacrifices that helped shape the area that they call home.
The ceremonial premiere of the program is sold out, but if you’re interested in watching the documentary in the historical Mishler Theater, you can purchase a ticket at the theater’s website or box office for the technical preview showing, which will be held on Wednesday, April 17th.
DVDs of the documentary will also be available later for purchase later this month through the Blair County Historical Society’s online gift shop, and various tourist attractions around the area.
