PHILADELPHIA (WCAU) — A four-year-old child is emotionally recovering after watching several suspects tie up and beat her loved ones during a home invasion.
Philadelphia police released video of last Monday’s home invasion in hopes of identifying and capturing the four suspects.
The brazen home invasion and robbery was caught on camera along the 6600 block of North 7th Street in East Oak Lane.
"Two guys were behind the car, and they put their gun in the face of him and me and said, 'come inside to the house.'"
The victim didn't want to be identified because of concerns for his and his family's safety, but he did describe the frightening moments they all endured just after 10 a.m. on November 6th when four armed men came looking for money.
"They put everybody on the ground in my kitchen and they hit my cousin with the gun on the top."
His cousin's wounds are still healing.
This victim says the entire incident frightened his four-year-old daughter who watched in horror as her loved ones were tied up and the criminals ransacked the house and were seen wheeling away a safe.
"My baby did cry, and they said, 'shut up or I’ll kill you.'"
Philadelphia police say the suspects also stole firearms and personal items, including jewelry, before driving away on 66th Avenue in a 2007 or 2008 black Acura.
The victim and his relatives say that while the valuables can be replaced, the wounds and trauma are long-lasting.
"My emotion... I feel bad."
