Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker TJ Watt etched his name into the record books Monday night, becoming the franchise's all-time sacks leader.
Watt's record-breaking play came in the second quarter as he brought down Cleveland Browns' quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Watt surpassed former Steelers' outside linebacker James Harrison on the all-time team sacks list, as he now holds the record with 81.5 career sacks.
Harrison was reportedly in attendance Monday night and told reporters that he wanted to see Watt break the record.
"It's great," said Harrison. "That is the whole reason I came, so I could be here in person to see it. Records are meant to be broken and that was one I was happy to see go down, especially watching it here."
