DUBOIS, Pa (WJAC) — Arts and crafts retailer giant Hobby Lobby looks to be coming to Clearfield County.
Company officials confirmed to 6 News their plans to bring a 55,000-square-foot Hobby Lobby store to the former Kmart location at 5820 Shaffer Road in DuBois.
The company says the store’s projected opening is some time late in the first quarter of 2020.
According to the Hobby Lobby website, the business is the largest privately-owned arts and crafts retailer in the world. It currently has over 850 stores in operation, with stores located in 46 of the 50 states, and employs more than 37,500 people.
